“Fast jam” traditional circle / Velum Fermentation

Join us for a "fast jam" style bluegrass circle! This jam is for acoustic stringed instrument players (sorry, no amps or percussion!) with solid command of their instruments who want to push themselves musically. Tempos are faster, songs are more complex, and both singing and playing reflect a higher level of bluegrass musicianship. Participants should know the core repertoire, keep steady time at speed, and be ready to take breaks and contribute strong rhythm or vocals. Less experienced players are welcome to attend and can learn a lot by listening and playing along, but should respect the flow of the group if asked to sit out on a tune. The goal is to keep the music driving and challenging while still sharing songs, trading breaks, and encouraging one another.
